         Свлачищният район е развит на десния долинен склон дере, част от планински склон и е с ширина около 100 м и дължина по посока на движението около 80 м на около 960 м западно от регулацията на с. Терзийско. Основната причина за това е, че през месец май 2016 г. след период на продължителни валежи, в границите на свлачищния район е възникнала нова активизация, която обхваща платното на път LOV3188 /LOV1137/ /ІІ-35/-Троян-Балабанско-Терзийско-м. Коман /LOV2130/ и участък от склона между пътя и руслото на дерето. Активизираният участък е с ширина около 20 м и дължина (по посока на движение) около 30 м. Образуваното засичане преминава в югоизточния край на пътното платно, като засяга асфалтовата настилка, а в централната част на деформацията навлиза на около 50 см към оста на пътя. Непосредствено до засичането се забелязва хлътване на пътното платно и множество пукнатини в асфалтовата настилка.

         Целта на възлагане на настоящия проект е да се овладее свлачищния процес като се извърши инженерно-геоложко проучване, въз основа на което да се изработи и реализира проект за укрепване на склона в свлачищния район и нарушените участъци от платното, чрез ново стоманобетонно съоръжение и отводняване на пътя, за да се осигури нормално и безопасно движение в проблемния участък.
